When do you think F1 was at its best from a purely aesthetic point of view?
My personal opinion is that the last 90's cars are possibly the best looking ones, when he narrow wheel base rules came about in 98 the cars looked great and then got even better in 99. Personal favorite is certainly the 99 Mclaren.
The cars looks uncluttered and the clean lines really worked.
