There's always got to be a bit of a compromise. If you want to use it on the roads more while not pulling excess attention, go for some more subtle colours/ditch the wing. Orange wheels might look cool, but do they make you faster? Which is more valuable to you - cool photos or more use of the car?
If you've already gone full stripped and hardcore track focused mods, then you're probably not missing much anyway as it's not going to be much fun on the roads.

I use mine to commute to work, and then any shows / trackdays etc at the weekends. Cover around 6k a year.

With work I've got a pretty nice daily so that and the mini only having two seats means it gets used far less than it should

After three years of keeping mines sensible, its taken a turn for the more track bias car but i dont mind the noise as i dont commute in it and use it as a weekend car. Hard to find a happy medium, but the car is off the road from november to end of march anyway

Well im off work on Monday so me and the Puma are gonna spend some time out on the road. Got a few little errands to run so seems like the ideal chance to get it out for a bit of a run.... providing the weather plays ball of course.

I use mines a few times a month on the road... Well I did before I binned it at Combe and is currently being repaired with a few more things added.
Long journeys are horrible with ITB's screaming, no radio, sound deadening and an uncomfortable seat, But on a nice sunny day and empty road with living next to the Brecon Beacons, Its worth it.

I try to get mine out at least once a week. Doesnt always happen. I'm lucky enough to have some fantastic driving roads nearby so great for testing out new parts between track days!

I had this very same discussion the other day when I was contemplating getting my F back on the road for next year. I took it off the road last September as we don't really have the need for 2 cars (work within walking distance etc) but it means I've missed out on loads of shows this year where I could of gone on my own. Our first daughter came along in May too so I had that on my mind when I took the car off the road last year for cost savings.
I'm now tempted to get the car back on the road next year when the wife goes back to work......dilemma!
I do share the same frustrations with people wanting to race away from lights all the time too! Always seems to be the same people and cars funnily enough

I managed to get out in mine for the day last Monday and loved every second of it, I really do need to start using the car more often. I think I sometimes get to a point when I enjoy working on it more than I do driving it.
