I for one do but there is a proviso attached to that...
I like the fact he is a Brit at the top of his sport, its great that we have someone to get behind who is quite possibly the best of his generation but... I do think he can be a bit of an arse at times, he decision to skip the London F1 demo when ALL other drivers attended was a bit of a dick move. Although in true LH style he rocked up at Silverstone and wiped the floor with the lot of them and silenced all his critics.

Think he's a great driver no doubt about it, probably one of the best since Senna!
Guy can be a prick though, he enjoys the lime light and who can blame him! He was untouchable in the British Grand Prix and one of those tracks he just seems to excel at, fair play for Bottas to come second though even if the Ferrari punctures did help

I didn't used to like him, BUT I think he's grown up a lot over the last few years, particularly since he moved to MB from McLaren. I wonder if he was always "the kid" at McLaren and so there was a temptation to behave like a spoilt brat. He's become a good role model, and a good ambassador to the sport, regardless of his results. I agree he can be a bit of a dick at times still now, but I think compared to Vettel's behaviour and moaning this year he's risen above most of it and is getting on with the job at hand. I genuinely hope he demolishes everyone else and wins the championship Regards "the London thing" - given the London media day is basically posturing BS by the F1 powers that be / part of the F1 media circus I don't blame him for skipping it. There's this constant bullshit between F1 and Silverstone where either the contract is nearly up and F1 threaten to go somewhere else, or they're mid-contract and Silverstone threaten to back out and put their prices up - we're currently seeing the latter. Silverstone know they've got F1 by the short-hairs, F1 know it too - there's such support for F1 in the UK they HAVE to have a UK F1 race, and there's nowhere else in the UK other than Silverstone that could host an F1 race without 100 million in infrastructure spend (which would take about 10 years to complete). None of the other circuits have the up-front cash, the space or the access to do it.. Its a catch 22 situation and this dangling carrot of a possible London F1 race is just part of the whole posturing that goes with it - the roads in London are terrible, they've got about 12" crown on most of them, huge kerb stones, pedestrian crossings, etc., etc. Its just not sensible to even suggest it might happen in the short term, unless they hold it at some disused industrial estate in Dagenham maybe?! As Lewis is no doubt strongly linked and indebted to the BRDC (or whoever owns Silverstone - I forget) he's probably choosing (or being told) to stay out of the whole London F1 thing and UK F1 location in general Apologies, that got a bit off track - to answer your original question.. Yeah I think Lewis is alright! You can really see Lewis wants it this year, he's supportive of his fans, he's risen above most of the nit-picking, and when the car behaves he's head and shoulders over everyone else this season.. good luck to him!

Agree with you on everything there, nowhere in the UK has the facilities to host F1... it very nearly ruined Donington Park when they tried.
I think Lewis has just grown into himself over the last 4 years and turned into the person Mclaren feared he might become. It was clear that Mclaren wanted him to toe the line and behave how Ron Dennis thought he should.
Its great to see someone express themselves and he is taking F1 in a direction that younger viewers can join in with, social media etc...
I think the issue some people might have with Lewis is he is the first to break the mould of what a modern day grand prix driver is, they are all so woodern and emotionless in press conferences Lewis stands out as being the odd one out but, I think its the other 18 that are a bit boring....
...the other 1 being Danny Ric, that guy is a legend (well he's ok for an aussie), you can tell he just loves the fact he's an F1 driver.

Luis Hamilton is a total BELL, he segragates himself from everyone, it's never his fault when he doesn't win, he's a smug twat when he does win and he bad mouths his up bringing into the sport as if someone's had a gun to his head. He just strikes me as a spoilt little brat n I cans stand him! Don't get me wrong, the guy is one hell of a driver but when there's thousands and thousands of people, many of them young, looking up to you as a role model the last thing you should be doing is acting like a child. He reminds me of another driver I can't stand Mr Jason Plato!
We need more good guy drivers in the sport like Ricardo and Vettle

Everyone has a right to an opinion and I won't argue with what you've said, but Vettel can hardly be held up as a good guy driver after recent incidents - regardless of how frustrated he was (and what the marshals decided) he had a massive spaz and drove into Hamilton under the safety car, he's consistently swearing over the car<>pit radio, and he doesn't half act entitled at times!
I think its a very high pressure situation for them all so I can't really pass judgement on any of these people with a complete picture of whats going on at the time, but there is definitely good and bad on both sides..
Plato is in a bit of a similar situation to Vettel at the moment I think - he could be amazing, but just doesn't quite have the car. Got to be hugely frustrating if you're stuck in a team that talks-the-talk but can't walk-the-walk!

Personally I love him, I'd just started work at McLaren a month before he won the championship in 2008 and he came in the Wednesday after and personally thanked everyone and took the time to speak to everyone who spoke to him and signed countless autographs.
He left at the right time and has gone from strength to strength

Vettel is not a good guy of F1, its good to sometimes have a villain but he does need to wind his neck in a bit. I hated the Red Bull Vettel and the stupid finger.... I started to like the Ferrari Vettel, in the first couple of years he seemed more rounded and friendly, now he's gone back to being a bit of a dick. The swearing on the radio is out of order, what he did in Mexico last year shouting on the radio was bang out of order.

Kimi has the funniest attitude of all the drivers, he's a miserable bastard but some of the stuff he comes out with is pure gold!

I've seen most of the F1 drivers wives on TV in the past - they have NO reason to be miserable! Also, they get paid millions to drive around some of the best race tracks on the planet in some of the best race cars on the planet.. ..most of us only dream of getting tickets to watch them!
