I had one when I was younger and it was an awesome little car, I'm so undecided on what to get, there's so much choice out there, I like stuff a little bit left field and different, but do I play it safe and just get something that people know and that have been proven on track

I set the max value at £1,500 and found which could be cool:- Saab 95 2.0t (huge tuning potential bizarrely) Seat Leon 1.8t Mg ZT v6 E46 3 series with 6 cylinder engines Fiat 20v turbo coupe There was a good looking 56 plate Cooper S Impreza Wrx wagon (seemed cheap) To name a few

The best game ever. I'd imagine the fiesta st could be quite entertaining, I think they run in some sort of race series. I remember a fully prepped one being at Cadwell when I was there last year. I think she was on a test day, but she was a mobile chicane mainly

I've seen a few at cadwell before but we're supercharged, I've heard there heavy and slightly under powered in standard form but with a few choice mods and a good diet they can do quite well, there's a pretty well sorted one on ebay for £4500

I agree with @jay Trackaddict! Ive always fancied a Ignis sport, they have great reviews and look so nimble.
There only downfall id say would be lack of engine tuning available.

Maybe try something different like a first gen Volvo S40 T4 200bhp, Citroen Xsara VTS, Celica T-Sort, Corolla T=Sport. volvo s40 is actually a good shout had one as a daily and it was what better than expected i had a few runs with scottish scoobies in it and shocked alot of people But id say Fiesta st150 is a great fun track car plus i happen to be selling one

So is a lupo gti a no then? I've spoken to a few people about the st150 and they've said not to bother because you've to spend a fair bit to get the best out of them

I'd say an ST150 would make a very capable track car with a few mods you can liberate 200bhp from the engine and they handle really well.... Plus they are getting cheap now.
